Amazing Addition to our pond
I named the island after my granddaughter and I have throughly enjoyed watching both grow 😊. We installed ours next to our main dock where we feed our fish the most. The island provides a safe haven for small fish because the roots offer an entire ecosystem themselves along with cover. Those roots help uptake nutrients too which is a huge benefit next to where we pellet feed. The insect life is abundant and there is always something visiting the island and it gives us a great focal point to watch and see the wildlife & aquatic life that make it their home. My only regret is that I don’t have more of them out here!
