This product works with time. I use it all year round even in the winter when the pond is frozen over my aerator keeps a good size hole open. In spring time I give my 1/4 acer pond it's kick start application ( 15 scoops) applied all around the pond and then 4 scoops every two weeks and my pond water clean clear and ready for summer. Also I should mention I use the 1/2 acer pond kit in conjunction. I double the recommended dose due to my pond being over 20 years old. But the results is amazing my pond grows huge fish and is a pleasure to be around. THANKS WATERSCAPES !
