The first one I bought ran continuously for 6 years trouble free! It was still working, although a bit noisier and weaker, when I decided to replace it. I see no reason why this new one shouldn’t last 6 years as as well.

have been using it for 2 weeks now running 24 hours a day. my concern is how hot it gets. too hot to touch. don't think this normal.
