This product was applied 3 weeks ago . To this point, I do not believe it has had any effect on my pond’s leak.
When we purchased our home we had a frog pond that had barely any water. We paid 10k for it to be dug out and packed in, but the water still would not rise from it's previous height. We then turned to this wonderful product. The following rain storm prior to adding the polamor the pond was full within a two weeks.
I am 5-days in - private pond 1/2 acre. Pond is little over 1-year old & I have tried multiple corrective actions to stop seeping. Nothing seemed to work. This product seems to have had a very immediate impact. I only used 1-bag & spread where I believe is most likely areas for seepage. In 5-days, water level is up over 6”. Pretty significant. Bought a 2-set of product. Hoping to broaden where I apply. Very messy - but will deal with this if I keep seeing the improvement I am seeing.
The product slowed my leak some, but not completely. Apply in cooler weather, wear a tyvek suit, gloves, glasses & face covering! It is messy. I applied 5 units to my pond which is just over a 1/4 acre. I was hopeful it would completely stop my leak, but thus far it has not. I can't justify applying more due to the high cost & not certain it would stop it completely. I do recommend the product if your leak is not that bad. I have been having muck floating up from the bottom that is saturated with the Soil Floc, but it slowly settles back down. It did clear up my water clarity tremendously & helped eliminate the small amount of algae. No issues with any fish, frog or turtle deaths.
We were able to localize our leak and treat accordingly. We saw results from that treatment within 48 hrs. Pond level began to recover in the middle of a dry season ( middle of July). Because of the location we waited a week and retreated. Continuing to improve. Very happy with progress.
Customer service was wonderful and FAST shipping!
It worked. Easy. Premixed in a bucket 50/50.
This product really works! Our pond seepage has almost stopped!
I applied the product about 1.5 weeks ago and all indicators show that my pond which was previously looking water is now holding water. I don’t have data on how much it’s been loosing or gaining since and prior other than that filling with a garden hose is yielding results where before it was not. Pond is about 1/3 acre.
Well, the product is definitely working, even settled all the sediment that was clouding the pond. But, wow is it funky stuff to work with, the hull of the boat looks like it got slimed in ghost busters. Make sure that you wear tyvek coveralls when spreading. I did the 50/50 mix prior to adding to pond and wherever the product ends up and meets water it turns to gooey slime, pants pockets for example haha, when they came out of the laundry the pockets were interesting. So far so good, water holding steady.
Wow our pond has had a leak since it was constructed 1961. After two generations of trying to fix it (including repacking the core of the dam) we were just resigned to live with it. But now after use of your polymer system I have reduced the flow of the leak by 75% and I know much better where the source of the leak is. Thanks for a very effective product!!!
Worked great, I had a seep in breast of Pond. This solved the leak first time.. Will be swimming & fishing soon!
Slowed, but didn't stop my leak.
We just had 2 ponds built at our ranch, and for some unknown reason to use the ponds would loose water to fast. We knew it was not all due to evaporation. So, we reaserched and consulted with pond builders and soilfloc is what they recomended to us. The last resort would be a rubber liner or concrete. So we decided to try the soilfloc. It's been 2 weeks since we applied the product to our ponds and so far it seems that the water is lasting longer than before. But yet still we keep the wind mills pumping water into them due to evaporation. On a good windy day rhe wind mills pump out 3 gal per minute, but it's not always windy, here in south TX. So far so good, but will see what the results are in a couple more months. So thank you guys at naturawaters capes. We will post more reviews in a couple of months. "Almeda Acres" Jesse Salinas
We applied 880 lbs of Soilfloc to a half-acre pond 14 days ago. The rate of loss has decreased from 1" per day to 1/2" per day. We're hoping it plugs the leaks completely in the next few weeks. I'll update this review then.
I was hoping this product would work on my pond and it did not at all. The leak stayed the same, I'm very sad I was really counting on it and didn't have the money to waste.
I received my pond sealer the next afternoon, great service. I am waiting to see my first great grandson. She is in hospital trying hard to accomplish this project. Will let you know how things go.
Soil flock has been installed for 2 1/2 weeks and has not slowed the leak any. For $739. I paid I am very disappointed.
I had quite a significant leak in my half acre pond. I was losing approximately 400 gallons a day. We put the soil floc in and within 24 hours you could see a difference within a week it has all but stopped. I would estimate I am now only losing 20 gallons a day. The one thing I will add is this material is extremely slick. Like Scooby Doo slick so be careful
Worked great sealing my small clay pond which had a slow leak. Tried sealing with bentonite several times without success. Applied Soilfloc according to directions on a very calm day. Haven't had any leakage since, workd almost immediately.
I was skeptical at first after 5 1ton bags of Betnite did not seal our pond but after 3weeks and 2 kits of soilfloc the pond seems to be holding. It was very slimy on a kayak spreading it out onto the middle but it was worth it.
I applied it as instructed and the rate of drop on my pond has slowed dramatically. Before it was dropping at a rate of about 4 inches per day. Now it is at about 1/4" per day. Thank you! I am hopeful this will be a lasting solution for me.

Jesse was super helpful, making sure our approach to using SoilFloc was appropriate given our site conditions. Not to mention the quality of the product. It works!
SoilFloc works great!!! But it is very messy. Once wet it turns into a slime that doesn’t dissipate. It’s holds the water very well so it’s worth the mess. After applying it we put a thin layer of sand around the shoreline to prevent people and animals tracking the slime around.
Applied one week ago. Water has since dropped 1 foot. Disappointed !wouldn’t recommend this product
Significantly slowed the leaking in my small pond. Cleared out the weeds in the pond in the hopes that one more treatment will slow seepage to a near stop.
Very impressive product, very messy applying it but it works
I have treated the area thought to be where the suspected leak might be. I’d say l used about a 1/2 gallon of part A and B and spread it out like chicken food. I’m extremely pleased with the result of a single application. I’m going to do a second application go be on the safe side.
My pond is about 1/8th acre so pretty small, but after doing some around the edges (laying boulders), I must have disturbed something as it started draining out. After 24 hours, I lost a foot due to seepage and I never saw it that low in 3 years. I applied a liberal amount of SoilFloc and now 3 days later, with zero rain, the pond hasn't dropped more than an inch. Honestly amazed at how well it worked and how quickly it worked. Definitely would recommend.
Pond leak is improving I think!
Put 4 doses in our half acre tank and it still leaks considerably. We followed all instructions and we are still seeing significant water loss. This is not the product if you are looking to seal a tank.
Easy to use and effective
